about:

Raised in super-small-town Oklahoma, I'm now bopping around the map, living in the most random places imaginable. I recently retired my winter coat that looks more like a sleeping bag to move from Northern Minnesota to Mid-Missouri. Where's next? Who's to say!

I'm a shameless girly girl; lover of clothes, makeup, bright colors, and well...cute things! I live for life's little luxuries, and you will never catch me passing up a sweet treat (Nerds Gummy Clusters being the current fav). 

I WILL be asking you what your sign is, and I *love* blaming my problems on the moon. I'm a Leo/Leo/Cap btw. 

My happy place is an outdoor craft fair on a crisp fall day. I love looking at art and supporting small artists-- the funkier the better! This hobby translates to social media as well, so please DM me your fav local makers! Especially if it's YOU!

Happy Tears Creative is a vibrant, empowering web design studio focused on creating headturning, personalized websites for bold female entrepreneurs who are eager to make a significant impact in their respective industries. 

A one-woman-and-one-corgi-show, HTC is all about lifting up other female entrepreneurs. Living creatively is something I’m passionate about and feel so fortunate to be doing, but it didn’t come easy for me. In fact, it actually took 10 years (yes, a full decade) for me to finally get it right. My goal to live a creative life included a brief (*cough* one semester) stint as an interior design major, 5 years working for a startup, and a year-long endeavor as a small business owner making polymer clay earrings with two of my best friends. 

If there is anything I’ve learned through my long and winding journey through creativity and entrepreneurship, it’s that you need to have at ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 1 girl who gets it in your corner. 

When I feel creatively stuck, stressed, forgetting my “why”, and almost ready to burn the whole thing down...nothing can turn that right around quite like talking biz with like-minded girlies. 99% of the time, I leave those chats realizing that I'm ACTUALLY overflowing with ideas and more importantly…EXCITEMENT (we love her!!). 

That’s what starting/owning a business is all about, right? Being excited af about your ideas & shouting them from the rooftops? Having aha moments so aligned with your vision and values that you LITERALLY want to cry (happy tears, of course)? 

By focusing on the unique visions and bold identities of women entrepreneurs, we create not just websites, but powerful platforms for storytelling, engagement, and growth, making Happy Tears Creative not just a service provider, but an advocate for the success of women-led businesses.
